Factorial Array


This dialogue is for choosing the desired factorial array to generate a DOE test setup.



Full factorial Array

Test matrix with all possible combination of factors like a binary array.

Orthogonal Array

Are constructed with a fraction of a Full factorial array but the orthogonality between the factors is kept. The factors are independent from each other. Interactions are not included in the array but the array must be constructed to make it possible (see Interactions).

The use of Fractional arrays can increase the amount of factors with the same amount of tests in this case 7 in stead of 3.

Develve indicates that the columns are unbalanced this is due to the fact that Level 2 is used 5 times and 1 only 4 times.
